1953 Zwitter Sunroof Beetle, Nicely Restored!

This "Oval Dashed Split Window Beetle", aka "Zwitter", was discovered some years back in Eastern Europe by a well-respected European collector.  It was later imported to the USA and saw a complete professional restoration.

 It features a beautiful and very rare original color of L35 Metallic Blue, very nicely and faithfully restored cloth interior, and the matching numbers original 25hp engine with the proper Zwitter era parts!  Zwitters are fairly rare Beetles and Zwitter Ragtops most definitely qualify as rare.

The decklid was off for a repair to the spring perch when these pics were taken but has since been finished.  The car will also require some paint touchup on the rear apron and a spot on one rear fender as well.  Thanks!
