1960 Custom Porsche Bus!

1960 Stylish Custom Porsche Deluxe Bus, Fresh, High Quality, Tasteful, and Nice!

Here is a very well done, stylish, and mild performance Bus that has loads of features that make it go as good as it looks.  The Bus started as a very solid original Kombi, was professionally converted to a 23 Window, and has several desirable features and upgrades including:

*1967 Porsche Engine (option for brand new 1776cc)
*Lowered Suspension, Narrowed Beam, Straight Axle Transmission, Dropped Spring Plates
*4 Wheel Disc Brakes, Porsche 944 Fronts, EMPI Rears
*17 Inch Fuchs Wheels, Detailed by Hans
*6 Popout Windows with Long Spoon Latches
*Safari Windows
*Beautiful Fresh Interior from Octavio's in Braun Chord Fabric, German Square Weave
*Porsche Wood Rim Steering Wheel
*Porsche Blaupunkt Radio
*NOS German Taillights
*GHE Accessory Bakelite Ashtrays
*Original Floors, Original Doglegs, Original Rockers, Very Straight and Solid Bus from the start!

The body and paint are exceptional and were professionally done by Dave Nevarez of Dave Nevarez Restorations.  The Kombi was super straight, very dry, and was an excellent base, so it was a great candidate for this unique build.  The front and rear floors, rockers, and doglegs are original, excellent testimony to how dry of an example this Bus was from the start!  Details to note include the era-appropriate slash cut bumpers, thick doglegs, flat wheel wells, outie vents, original icepick door handles, beautiful undercarriage including belly pans, detailed suspension, and mirror reflection all over!

The interior is beautiful, fresh, and was done by Octavio's.  The tan Braun Chord Fabric was supplied by Lenny at West Coast Classics and has produced an excellent compliment to the stunning blue paint.  Highlights to note include all 3 rows of early seats, wool headliner, German square weave carpeting in the rear luggage area, brand new rubber floor mats, and the accessory day/night mirror, just to name a few.

Mechanically the Bus is a turnkey driver, fresh, and well-thought-out.  The Porsche engine is exceptionally clean and detailed, the transaxle came from Wright's Gearbox, front beam, disc brakes, and lowered suspension components from Bruce Endsley, and the custom half Bus/half Porsche speedometer was rebuilt by North Hollywood Speedometer, too.  The owner had a brand new 1776cc engine built for the Bus as he would prefer to keep the Porsche engine.  Please contact for further info and the Bus can be sold with whichever engine you choose.

This Bus is high quality, distinctive, and is well-suited to those who desire something that stands out from the crowd!  Thanks!

Please note that this cool Bus is located in Southern California.
