This Bus is an excellent start for a high quality
and very lovable 1963 15 Window Walkthru Deluxe Bus. Don't miss your
chance at substantial savings in both money and time from what you
would typically invest to do proper and quality body work in the
restoration of a Bus like this. Those who have been through the process
certainly understand the truth in that claim. The body restoration is
now done and was performed by the well-known Kelly "Metal Wizard" Brown
who is a specialist in proper early Bus welding and body restoration.
If you have a project Bus that will be needing similar work for its
restoration, there is a strong likelihood that you'd be better off
selling your project and buying this Bus. It's like skipping several
steps in the process and saving a lot of money on top of it all. Or, if
you're stubborn, you can spend more money, energy, and time and have
less for more! Reread that a couple times and see how good an idea that
is.
Some of the biggest features of this last year 15 Window include it
having originally been the ever-popular Turkis (turquoise) and Blue
White color combination, being a very desirable Walk Thru model, also
being an early 1963 with the outie engine vents, and last but not least
a factory optioned 6 popout window Bus.
The body work and rust repair has clearly been performed to a very
high standard with the desire being a faithful and fulfilling restored
Bus that will stand the test of time as opposed to erupting in a short
while with a budget "Facelift/Bondo sculpture" quickie "pretty up"
restoration.
