1965 Kombi Walkthru, Fresh and Clean Driver!

This Bus has been completely refreshed with thousands of dollars spent throughout to produce this very shiny, enjoyable, and nice looking driver.  It features new paint, all new interior, a fresh and strong 1915cc engine, rebuilt transaxle, new bias ply wide white wall tires, all new rubber, lenses, and seals throughout, and too many more details and brand new parts to list.

Some of the other features include being a desirable factory walkthru model, having all 3 rows of seats, being an original 6 popout window model with new chrome latches, having been converted to 12 volt electrics for added reliability, and the brand new Westfalia style wood slat roof rack as well.  No doubt about it, this Bus will certainly get loads of thumbs up out on the road.

This Bus has a very solid and clean body with a brand new and extremely shiny bright red and white paint job.  There is a small patch of filler on the passengers front floor in the place that old Buses typically get some perforation.  Other than that, the floors are clean and solid.  The undercarriage is clean as well and has been painted with black paint to make it a bit more presentable.  The body is very straight as you can see and has a nice reflection all around.  All of the doors, decklid, and apron are all correct for 1965, too. 

The Mesh Platinum style interior is brand new throughout, seems to be TMI panels, headliner, and seat covers. They are well done and look great for a driver.  Even the black rubber floor mats, grey rubber seat stand mats, and sunvisors are new.  The cargo floor and inner walls have been covered in Dyna Mat to help reduce road and engine noise and keep the passengers more comfortable, too.  The Bus is very noticeably quieter which makes for more enjoyable longer trips.  The dash is very clean and has a accessory plug which is perfect for cell phone chargers, I Pods, MP3 players, and other accessories that run on 12 volts.  New original style seat belts have also been installed in the cab.

Mechanically the Bus has been completely gone through and features a fresh and torquey 1915cc engine with a performance 2 barrel carburetor, chrome 009 distributor, Bosch blue coil, and new performance exhaust system that sounds great as well.  Additionally the stock reduction box transaxle has been refreshed, the front end also has been gone through with new tie rod ends, and the brakes were completely serviced and are ready for action.  Everything with the exception of the horn works (typically an easy fix), and the Bus is driven and enjoyed regularly.  Thanks!
